I was talking to someone this week about something which I found kind of upsetting.
You see this person has achieved some awesome things with their health, fitness & strength.
The thing is - the stresses and strains of life have got in the way.
To the point where this person feels as though they are off track and have taken a few backwards steps.
So much so that they are very self conscious and think that other people may be looking at or judging them.
...and this upset me for one reason......
I was talking to a couple of members this morning about the type of progress we want to see with their training.
You see right now we have all the members looking to add extra reps each week.
In other words - Increase the volume.
Because we want to make and see some form of progress each week.....
....and this approach is the basis on which we are building real improvements in strength over the next few months....
The issue is when you try to rush the process....
So apparently being healthy is "boring".....
At least according to the person I spoke to the other day.
The point they made was that to be fit and healthy, they felt you had to eat the same "boring" meals all the time.
Maybe you've felt the same?
