It's packed full of loads of useful free info & tips on training, nutrition & everything else in between. Our special Xmas Issue is out now and you will be able to find it in our gym & a few local businesses. We cover topics such as:

So this week I was chatting to one of our members Stefanie.
Stefanie is now on the 12 week home straight to getting married! She's done unbelievably well over the last year dropping a couple of stone and becoming fitter and stronger than ever before. The old dress has had to be taken in a couple of times already! But it's now "business time" as I said to her the other day. We launched our new magazine last month.
The new issue just came out and can be found in our gym & a few local businesses. However - I thought it might be nice to share it with you so you could see what it is like. "More isn't better. Better is better."
One of the best pieces of advice I was given was by an old course tutor of mine about 10 years ago. You see it was around this time that "HIIT", "Circuit" & "Interval" training really started to become popular. The problem with this approach is that you can end up only ever being focused on doing "more" with your training, Earlier this week my little girl Valentina had a bit of an upset stomach.
To the point she was up late with a bit of discomfort & needed some medicine................. Reasons to be cheerful.
I think we can all agree that the last year has been a real struggle. Right? Personally & professionally. As a gym/business owner I can freely admit that I/we have taken a real kicking. Right now though - I really think there are plenty of reasons for us to be more cheerful over the coming weeks. >> GET STARTED NOW << For example...
What do you think? Can you add anything to the list? Let me know. David "the glass is half full" Knowles P.S. Another reason to be cheerful. The reason for this is that many people we work with struggle with sticking to their "regular" healthy eating habits when visiting a cafe or restaurant. All too often we hear people saying they are confused by how they can head out for a bite without busting their daily calorie intake. The question is, is it easy to stick to a healthy diet when eating out? Absolutely! There are still some people out there who believe that women should stick to the cardio, aerobics or fitness classes and leave the weights to the men.
There are even some celebrity "trainers" who say women shouldn't lift heavier weights than a 5 kilo dumbbell. Thankfully we are now at a point where women are coming round to the idea that lifting weights can bring incredible benefits. Here are 6 reasons why we strongly believe more women should lift weights. You might not like what I'm about to tell you.
The question I want to help you answer is this. Does sweating (a lot) = fat loss? We go AGAIN!
After the huge success of last years 24 Hour Charity Workout where we raised over €2.5k which allowed us to buy toys for kids in Temple Street Foundation, we will be running another event in December. With this in mind we would love (and NEED!) your help. Our target is to match or beat our previous target of €2.5k so we can purchase toys for sick kids who are in hospital at Christmas time. To promote this event we recently did an interview with Donie Tarrant from Near FM. |
